Resisting, Delaying, or Obstructing an Officer is governed by N.C.G.S. 14-223.

If any person shall willfully and unlawfully resist, delay, or obstruct a public officer in discharging or attempting to discharge his/her duty, it is a Class 2 Misdemeanor. A Class 2 Misdemeanor carries up to 60 days in jail.
